Machine polish: stage 1, 2 and 3
Machine polishing takes out the swirl marks, light scratches and dullness that build up on paint over time. The stage is how far the correction goes: the more the paint needs, the higher the stage.
Stage 1
A single machine polish. It lifts light swirls and brings the gloss back on paint that’s in fair condition.
Stage 2
A cutting compound, then a finishing polish. It removes moderate swirls and light scratches that a stage 1 would only soften.
Stage 3
The most thorough correction: heavier compounding, then refining, to take out as many defects as the paint safely allows. For paint that’s heavily swirled, hazy or scratched.

Paint correction takes defects out of the clear coat rather than hiding them, so the finish stays sharp after the first wash.

It depends on the condition of the paint. Call us or send a photo on WhatsApp and we’ll tell you which stage we’d recommend.
Will machine polishing remove every scratch?
Polishing removes swirl marks and light scratches in the clear coat. A scratch deep enough to catch your fingernail usually can’t be polished out completely, but it can often be made much less noticeable.
